Note: As indicated in the notice of race, the Leisure waiting list includes the first 180 names in order of draw and the Pro list the first 30. If you do not see your name, it means that your position is located beyond 780th place (Leisure) or 130th place (Pro).
1) For the selected ones: on Monday October 8, you will receive an email including a link allowing you to pay the participation fees and to finalize your registration. If 48 hours later, you have not received the message (check your spam box!), please contact us at the following address: email@example.com. Be careful, you will have until October 22 at midnight to register!
2) After October 22, we will contact each person on the 2 waiting lists (you may still have a little chance!), following the order of ranking, to complete the list of registered participants.
Organized by Nautic Festival SA for the Nautic Paris Boat Show, the 9th Nautic Paddle is scheduled for December 9th, 2018.
The race will take place in Paris, with an exceptional setting on the Seine River between the National Library of France (Bibliothèque Nationale de France) and the port Javel Bas. 800 Participants, consisting of professionals and amateurs alike, are expected to be in attendance for the competition.
Route #1: “LEISURE” division. Approximate distance of 11 kilometers.
Route #2: “PRO” division. Distance of 13.5 kilometers with the additional challenge of a complete circuit around two islands: Île de la Cité and Île Saint-Louis.
It is possible to participate in the event solo or as a group (4 people maximum). In both cases, each participant will have their own paddle. Then, there will be a lottery to determine the individuals and teams selected to participate.
Registration fees are 60 euros including VAT per participant.
Note: the final round of the APP World Tour (Association of Paddlesurf Professionals) will take place during the 9th Nautic Paddle, with the start planned for a few minutes following the main race. This final stage will crown the 2018 Paddle world champion.
The second round of the final, which will take place as a sprint on the pool inside of the fair (“salon”), will allow everyone to admire the performances of the world’s best in the discipline. It will also be possible for the public to meet the champions on Saturday, December 8 from 3:30 PM-6:30 PM during a demonstration at the Salon Nautique de Paris, Porte de Versailles.
